Cave Quest VBS Wrap-up

We had a wonderful week at the 2016 Seward United Methodist Vacation Bible School! The theme was “Cave Quest: Following Jesus, the Light of the World”.

Each day we had a special animal that was our “mascot” for the day. These animals taught us:

• Jesus gives us hope
• Jesus gives us courage
• Jesus gives us direction
• Jesus gives us love

Then, small groups rotated through the stations of Bible stories, crafts, games and songs. We had around 55 children ages 4 to 10 at VBS and 40 adult/youth helpers!


We were pleased to be able to share $433.00 with the Seward Habitat for Humanity organization, as the children/helpers decorated a “Change a Home” coin box and brought their money to donate to this project.
