Worship & Church Life

Music

Seward United Methodist Church values the gift of music and encourages all to be involved in any way they can. There are various ways to participate and give praise to God!

Our Chancel Choir rehearses during the school-year on Wednesday evenings at 7:15 p.m. They spend time working on vocal technique and learning sacred anthems for use in worship and special events. All voices are welcome!

Our Handbell Choir rehearses during the school-year on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. They spend time working on various ringing techniques and learning selected pieces for use in worship and special events. All interested in ringing are welcome - no prior knowledge or experience is needed!

Our Praise Team rehearses year-round on Sunday mornings. The group includes vocalists, percussionists, and pianists to incorporate modern worship music and styles regularly in worship and special events.
